Blessed are the Sunday's when you surround your self with good people, fun places, and great weather. 

Today I extended myself the luxury of sleeping in past 7 am which was much needed! I then spent most of the afternoon meandering around southwood a young neighborhood newer to the Tallahassee area taking photos for my blog and these are what I find best describe me and my afternoon..

Tuesday's and OOTD's

It's one of those glass half full kind of days which also means that there is only three more days to this week. So if you haven't noticed by now I took a little time off blogging last semester which I deeply regret. Blogging seems to keep me centered and focused on goals so this semester and year I'm vowing to get back into the groove and grow and improve more than ever! 

Today I'm starting back with one of my favorite types of post which is an outfit of the day post! Here in Tallahassee our days start out chilly and work their way warmer so I am going with what I think is a very conventional sweater combination for the occasion!

Sweaters are a major favorite of mine in this cool weather and this is probably my most fave sweater in my collection!

Stylin Sunday Funday

Happy Sunday y'all! Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend and gotten plenty of rest for this week. I am so excited to share with you all kinds of fun stuff. So on Friday I cam home to the mother load of boxes from Shop Hopes including all of my memorial day sale goodies and my regular goodies! I also came home to another addition to my Kate Spade collection which makes me super excited. So obviously I had to style my weekend with all my new pieces!

Yet another milestone!!

YAY I have hit yet another milestone. this is officially my 40th post as Politics, Pearls, and Monograms. Each day and each post I am gaining more and more knowledge about the blogging world and I keep getting more and more hooked. For my my 40th post I thought I would share with you some of my favorite must haves right now!


Shop Hopes: Ok so as many of you know I own my personal online boutique Orange Blossom Gals and lord let me tell you it is every bit of my little girl fairy tale. Being a young college student though I do offer so many awesome affordable and adorable pieces I don't have it all! I have been following on Instagram and twitter lately a boutique named Shop Hopes and let me tell you I have fallen in love. Though it is not the most affordable I scored last week with a flash sale of 75% and got two dresses, two pairs of heels, and two pairs of shorts! The Gym: Yeah this may sound dorky but part of my new years resolution along with my 20 before 20 was to get fit and seeing as that I am halfway through the year almost its abut time I get my butt to work! I am keeping my gym routine mixed up and fun jamming to oldies to keep myself motivated. I am eating cleaner and healthier cutting out soda and processed foods along with a lot of gluten free and dairy free items. I haven't cut sweet tea out all together yet but I am minimizing my usage lol. I am looking to get started in some fun exercise classes so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear!

Playing house: Ok how I stumbled upon this show I still don't know but I can't stop watching. It is about two friends who have been through it all and one is pregnant about to go through a divorce. So the two friends team up and decided that they will be raising the baby together. It is seriously one of the funniest shows I have seen in a while.

Well I don't want to bore you with to many things cause believe me I could go on forever about things that I love. Keep posted though for my up and coming wrap up of my internship and my summer plans post coming soon!

Origami Owl; Tell your Story..

So I am now completely obsessed with Origami Owl and their mission. Origami Owl is the process of telling your story through jewelry. I received my first one from my mother as a just because gift with an anchor, lipstick, and the word love. These charms were my starter charms and each tell a little piece of me. I am super excited for this weekend cause I am hosting my first jewelry bar and will be ordering more charms for my bracelet and getting parts to create a necklace as long as getting a sneak peek of the new products.
So for two of my new bracelets I will be telling two stories of my life that I a so proud of and very passionate about. My first locket I will be doing is for politics. You should have known this me being the political junkie and all. I will be ordering red, white, and blue stones. Along with the stones I am getting the American flag and of course the elephant charm. This bracelet that will be an adorable addition to all of my other elephant pieces. The second locket I will be doing is one that is inspired by my blogging. Fashion and blogging is all very new to me but something that I want to take very serious and get good at. I want to add to my lipstick by ordering the purse, heel, heart glasses, and the pink and turquoise rhinestone. I am very excited to have this locket set to wear when I am blogging as a mini inspiration to me every time I sit down to write.
I look for inspirational aspects to life in all forms. Words, songs, objects, and people are all places and things that I look to as inspiration. Blogging has become something I enjoy and hope to keep building bigger. For now I will keep doing it for my few readers and still loving it more than ever. I hope that you have seen my bracelet though and fell in love as much as I have with Origami Owl. I will add the link to one of my good friends O2 links for you to start creating your story.
The great thing about O2 is that the start cost is very variable and to continue to add charms and creating stories is not an expensive hobby. That excites me the most. When you create your story I would love to see.
