| Tis the season |

My favorite season is just around the corner. No I'm not talking about the leather and lace good old southern game of football, though that does start this weekend! (Go Gators) I'm talking about the political girls heaven. Campaign season. 

These past couple weeks have been nothing but a whirl wind. I took a step in a direction I was unsure of and I made a decision I was scared to death about. The promising thing is though the future is looking bright! 

Just over a month ago I left Tallahassee and moved back towards home to take a position with not only one of the youngest legislators but the youngest female legislator in Florida. The transition has been an interesting one but at the end of the day I feel it had been an amazing opportunity to work with someone who is so inspiring to me everyday. 

This past Friday was the campaigns kick off fundraiser for next years election. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to be a member of such an encouraging team working for the same common goal! Conservative politics with a voice of truth. What these next couple months even years hold for me I don't know. What I do know is bough God has a plan and right now all I need to do is be servant and let him guide me.

Blessed are the Sunday's when you surround your self with good people, fun places, and great weather. 

Today I extended myself the luxury of sleeping in past 7 am which was much needed! I then spent most of the afternoon meandering around southwood a young neighborhood newer to the Tallahassee area taking photos for my blog and these are what I find best describe me and my afternoon..

So many fun and exciting things!

   Wow what a week/weekend it has been here in the city of Tallahassee. On Monday I started my job at The Orourke Group which is Governor Rick Scotts fundraising staff. I couldn't be more excited and honored to get to be a part of a group of hardworking smart individuals. I look forward to the many opportunities this job will bring me!

   Along with the wonderful first week at the new job I had an awesome weekend with my boyfriend and friends. I always love a good relaxing weekend. I spent time shopping and, at the lottery, and stopped by the Rez here near campus.

   Well I am ending my weekend writing a minimum 3 1/2 page paper and watching Modern Family on Hulu. I hope everyone has had a blessed and lovely weekend.
