| Tis the season |

My favorite season is just around the corner. No I'm not talking about the leather and lace good old southern game of football, though that does start this weekend! (Go Gators) I'm talking about the political girls heaven. Campaign season. 

These past couple weeks have been nothing but a whirl wind. I took a step in a direction I was unsure of and I made a decision I was scared to death about. The promising thing is though the future is looking bright! 

Just over a month ago I left Tallahassee and moved back towards home to take a position with not only one of the youngest legislators but the youngest female legislator in Florida. The transition has been an interesting one but at the end of the day I feel it had been an amazing opportunity to work with someone who is so inspiring to me everyday. 

This past Friday was the campaigns kick off fundraiser for next years election. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to be a member of such an encouraging team working for the same common goal! Conservative politics with a voice of truth. What these next couple months even years hold for me I don't know. What I do know is bough God has a plan and right now all I need to do is be servant and let him guide me.

Four more years!

It's been a hot minute since I last posted and wow has life been one amazing moment after the next! For the past 9 months I have been a part of a team getting to have an experience I will forever be grateful for! I have been working on Florida Governor Rick Scott's finance team for his campaign which we secured another four years this past Tuesday November 4th. These last 9 months have been filled with memories, friendships, and lots of events. I met so many great people along the way whether they be Floridians or other politicians. The lessons I have learned through this campaign are things I will take with me for the rest of my life!

It feels like just yesterday I was five years old attending some of my first campaign events and voting in mock elections at school! The past 14 years I have been dreaming of the day I would get to come on board and be a part of a campaign so this still seems unreal to me! Attending countless events I can recall some of my favorites and the great memories they bring. Being on the other side though and being a part of that victory is a feeling like any other!

I'm still on cloud 9 and I don't plan on coming down anytime soon! God has truly blessed me with great people in my life and I'm so thankful for that. The journey has just began though and I can't wait to see where it leads me too!
